How To Make Your Own Rose Water

Having known for a long time rose water was beneficial for skin, why not decide to give it a try?

Roses are naturally anti-inflammatory and antibacterial which are major components for clear, healthy skin.  Instead of purchasing a pricey bottle, here is a developed recipe for a do-it-yourself way so, go ahead and prepare a mixture.

How to prepare the rose water

Peel the petals from the bulb. Place them into a large pan and add 1.5l of water. Boil it for 15 minutes and mix from time to time. When the petals start to lighten, it means you are doing it right. Strain the petals by pressing them to get rid of the water leftover. Cool the water down before applying it to your face. You may keep the water up to 4 weeks (in the fridge).

Here is some advice on how you should use your rose water:

  1. Hydrating Face Mist

Put the water into a spray container and use it to moisturize your skin throughout the day.

  1. Skin Toner

Use it daily as a skin toner to increase skin’s elasticity and diminish the fine lines.

  1. Treat Under-Eye Puffiness

Dip a cotton ball into your rose water and apply underneath your eyes to get rid of the puffiness. It will produce the 10 hours sleeping effect.

  1. Eye Makeup Remover

It will remove all the eye makeup, however heavy your eye makeup is.

  1. Acne-Fighting Astringent

Use rose water and fresh lemon juice and fight the nasty acne issue. The mixture will clear your skin and leave your face fresh and flawless.
